I have always enjoyed visual arts. Light, color, shadows and textures playing together a wonderful symphony to evoke feelings in the viewer. Materials like bricks, rusted ironwork, rocks, and wood make me feel conscious of my human condition, since they are the prime essence of civilization.
I also like to make visible all those little details usually ignored in our daily lives, whether it is on a modern and sophisticated building, a modest old barn, a tiny flower at the side of the road, a snow covered rock or the most majestic and striking landscapes.

I fell in love with photography at the very first instant I had a digital camera in my hands, and the fact that I could have total control of the whole process got me started. I enjoy every single step in the process of photography, from looking for a subject for my work and setting up my camera on a tripod to digitally processing the image and choosing the appropriate type of paper and printing.
I feel that I have found in photography the opportunity to work with all this elements along with the use of technology, my other passion. My favorite tools … besides my camera and lenses, anything with a keyboard, buttons, a screen or two, lights, batteries, cables, knobs, levers and so on.
Here’s a small sample of my work. You can see some of those are from when I first started shooting with a small digital point-and-shoot camera, as well as the more recent ones using a Nikon D-SLR.
I hope you enjoy it!
